Tricity General | Karyana Store And Milk Delivery
With everyone setting themselves even deeper down the stream of paranoia, the COVID-19 pandemic is driving us crazy in the mere name of survival. With all this wreaking havoc all over, the furthering 3-week lockdown has tipped the scales further towards the mounting tensions.
Fortunately, amidst this chaos, the Government of India has come up with an innovative solution for the provision of the basic necessaries to the general public. For those residing in the Tricity region here, the following is the list officials who will supervise the delivery of milk across Chandigarh during the curfew:
One can visit the above mentioned between 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on all days. To make this manoeuvre even simpler, the Chandigarh Retailer Karyana Association has decided to open 250 shops from Thursday onwards itself for the public aid. Even 70 wholesale shops will be opened in the sector 26 grain market for the same purpose!
Furthermore, a series of public vehicles will be made available to deliver fruits and veggies to households sector wise in coordination with the Chandigarh police, at standardised rates.
Also, many retailers and ration shop owners have come forward with home delivery services for food and ration to various households, across tricity. Even though this facility is for public aid, it will only be functional from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. everyday.
